The bricks are themed with restraint and constraint
No time alone, how much more a life alone
The time to sleep, rise up at dawn, feed and live, now lies with another
Cladded in those same unceremonious garments
They yield to the screams of the jailer
With expressions of frustrations, depression and humiliation
They obey the orders to avoid more penalization
Somewhere in the cold stone walls, lies a soul who has no guilt
Amongst them are the very ones with guilt
So many wishing they took the other option
And resigning to fate, they live each day
Hoping for a miracle to come their way
